The School of Electrical and Information Engineering was founded in 1987. Through more than 20 years’ development, the School has become an important training base for talents in electrical information in Sichuan province. 
      The School offers 3 undergraduate programs in Electrical Engineering and Automation, Information Engineering, Measurement & Control Technology and Instruments. Meanwhile, it’s qualified to grant a master degree of first-class discipline on Electrical Engineering as well as master degree in Control Theory and Engineering and Signal and Signal Processing.
      There are 35 professors and associate professors. Among them, teachers with master and doctoral degrees account for over 80%.
In recent years, the School has achieved fruitful results in scientific research: 26 academic books and textbooks have been published and more than 400 research papers (among them 76 papers were retrieved by SCI, EI) have been adopted by academic journals or conferences at home and abroad. What’s more, this school has taken on over 100 national and provincial scientific research projects.
